Submit to Brussels Short Film Festival’s International Competition

Brussels Short Film Festival, organized by Un Soir…Un Grain, is an exhibition intended for cinema lovers of cinema. The team seeks to promote and circulate short films. And also, to generate contacts between audience, young directors, and professionals.

It accepts all genre. To enter, upload your film to either Reelport, Clickforfestival, Festome, Movibeta, and Short Film Depot. Also, attach one still of the film and a photo of the director.

Do note, your film should not be more than 30 minutes and must have been produced after Nov. 1, 2016.  And, your films should be available for screening on DCP and mp4. codec H264 (10 Mbs, 1920 x 1080) Also, you should subtitle your film in French or English.

Importantly, you have to pay an entrance fee: €7 before Dec. 30 and €9 after that. However, you get a chance to win €3,500 grand price. Other prizes include the €1,000 special jury prize, the €1,000 best actress prize, the €1,000 best actor prize, and the €1,500 audience prize.

A selection committee will view submissions for pre-selection. And only selected films will participate in the competition. The Brussels Short Film Festival team will announce the selected filmmakers online in April 2018.

The team may excerpt selected films for publicity purposes on TV or via the Internet. Also, it will send selected films directors an invitation to the festival in Brussels for 4 days and an accreditation. The festival will only cover a part of the guest’s travel costs.
