Send your poetry, fiction, review and photograph to publication@singlestory.org. Be sure to include contact information such as your name, address, phone and email on the page of each submission. If you do not receive a response within six months, feel free to re-submit with new work. The journal is published yearly, in the summer. No simultaneous or previously published work. We consider submissions for publication all year round.
Fiction/Drama: Submit work no longer than 6,000 words. Excerpts of longer works may be accepted; please include full work as well as excerpt. Submit unpublished drama only if plays have been performed, please include any important performance information. Your complete submission should include at most a 100 word biography.
Poetry: Submit no less than three and no more than five original, unpublished poems. Length and style are open-ended. Just send your best work! Your complete submission should include at most a 100 word biography.
Reviews: Reviews of film, theater, books, art exhibits, video, music, and other media are accepted. Review should include visuals and correct attributed. Please, credit each creatives as necessary. Your complete submission should include at most a 100 word biography.
Photography and Photojournalism
Your submission should tell a story. Please do not send us just one picture. Attach a photo credit and description to each piece submitted. Please include a standard photographer’s release, allowing TSSF to publish the work sent. Your complete submission should include at most a 100 word biography.
