Eyelands, an online literary magazine, and Strange Days Books, a publishing firm, are collaborating to run their first comic strip contest. The contest runs from June 20 till Sept. 20, 2019. The theme of the contest this year is free. The judge is Gregory Papadoyiannis and entrance fee is 5€.
There will be three prize winners. The winners will be published in the anthology and receive the following:
- a handmade ceramic gift
- a certificate
- a complimentary copy of the anthology
- a week holiday at Three Rock Resort with a discount 50% from the regular cost (nonobligatory).
- An online publication on eyelands.gr both in English and in Greek language.
All shortlisted comic stories will be exhibited in the 2019 Sand Festival and published in a comic album. The book will be released through “Strange Days” publications and Amazon in January 2020.
Entry form and payment
Pay via PayPal – See the banner in Eyelands homepage. Click the «buy now» button. Fill the description. ECC Entry fee is 5 euros. Τhere is also the option to make the entry payment via bank/wire transfer. If you choose this option please ask for further details
After the payment is complete, you can send an e-mail with your story attached in a word doc /docx format to eyelandsmag@gmail.com or strangedaysbooks@gmail.com, writing in the subject line: Comic Contest or ECC. An email confirmation that your entry has been received will be sent within three /four days of receiving your e-mail.
The team does not accept postal entries. Name and address of the author are to be submitted in the body of the e-mail.
