Submit to EXPOUND Magazine‘s Issue 9 edition, which the magazine currently reads for. It accepts submissions from around the world. EXPOUND publishes original, quality poetry, fiction, photography, artworks, videos, and non-fiction. Non-fiction accepted include interviews, reviews, memoir pieces, and essays.
The magazine seeks written works and art that “provoke, investigate, surprise, entertain and startle any reader.” It particularly clamours for new styles, avant-garde and experimental and mind-bending pieces. You can also send in translation as long as you have the rights to publish.
Send your original, unpublished pieces to submit@expoundmagazine.com. Insert your poetry in the body of the email but attach other works to the email. And title your email with the genre you are submitting to and your name. Include a short biography in your submission.
EXPOUND Magazine accepts simultaneous submissions as long as you immediately notify it when your piece has been accepted elsewhere.
EXPOUND Magazine Genre Guidelines:
Submit fiction works in any length or form. You can send in fiction such as crime fiction, science fiction, fan fiction, fantasy writing, erotica, etc. Also, send in nonfiction of any form and length.
For poetry, send five (5) poems max or a long poem per submission. It gives special attention to poems that shock or entrance. And for visual art, EXPOUND publishes pictures/graphic pictures and artworks that tell a wide range of timely critical, artistic, and cultural issues. Four to 10 photos, paintings, digital art, illustrations and cartoons portfolios should be sent as PDF, JPG. or PNG attachments.
