Stripes Magazine is open for submission; seeking contributors for our E–Issue themed ‘FRUITS’ Stripes Magazine is a literary magazine on a mission to showcase the beginner and emerging writer by being a home for the raw and different.
You may write on whatever topic, issue or idea only make sure to allude to a fruit, refer to a fruit or fruits. The editors want edible fears, crunchy romances, fruity tears, mix of rebuke, fleshes of religion, a slice of your hope, the highs and lows of your fruity tale. Fruits of the body, earth, hand/hard work.
Guidelines
Send in .doc or .docx format to thestripesmag@yahoo.com. Subject should be Name and Genre (Akan Win – Fiction). Include a brief cover letter addressed to the editor and a 100 word bio. For poetry, send 3-5 poems in one document or pasted in body of email.
For fiction, send 1-3 fiction pieces 1000–2000 words in one document. Nonfiction, send 1–2 creative nonfiction or personal essays in one document (max 2000 words). For reviews, articles, and listicles, send Send 1 review or article (max 1500 words). And for art, send no more than 3 pieces of painting or art. Please note that Stripes cannot afford to pay contributors at the time but will do well to promote you.
