A project of the Centre for African Cultural Excellence, Writivism identifies, mentors, publishes and promotes emerging African writers resident in any country in the Africa or in the Caribbean.
Writivism provides creative writing workshops, online mentoring, newspaper publication of flash fiction, publication of an annual anthology, a schools’ programme, an annual short story prize for short fiction and an annual literary festival.
To apply for these workshops, you must be resident in any country in the Africa or in the Caribbean, and have not published a book before.
