Deadline: Sept. 9, 2017.
Salomé seeks fiction, non-fiction and flash fiction submissions for its October issue, themed strength. Please note that while the deadline is Sept. 9, the team will stop accepting submissions once they reach 250 submissions.
Salomé only accepts submission from anyone who identifies as female, regardless of age. Also, the team only accepts original, unpublished submissions. Send in 100-500-word flash fiction, 500-3500-word for fiction or non-fiction, and no more than two pages of poems. Format your submission in Arial, size 10.
It only accepts one submission per writer per issue, written in English. Submit your entry as a Word document. Also, include your full name, a short blurb about you (50 words max) and your twitter handle (if you have one).
Selected writers will receive £50. Do note that Salomé accepts submission for art all the time. All you have to do is email the editor with samples of your artwork. The team advises that you check each month’s theme before submitting your artwork.
To submit, upload your work (fiction, nonfiction, and artwork) through its online form. Scroll all the way to the bottom for the form.
