Deadline: April 1.
Submit to Margins by Ninth Letter, which was opened its submission on Jan. 20. It currently accepts fiction, non-fiction, and poetry entries for the special online edition. According to Ninth Letter:
Physical spaces have margins, as does the social world. In fact, anything that can be contained or has limits might have margins of some kind. This issue will feature work that evokes margins or the marginal.
So, submit your work through the publisher’s Submittable page. It will not accept mail or email submissions for this issue. Upload up to three poems, or up to 3500 words of fiction or non-fiction. Also, include a brief cover letter that explains how your work connects to the theme. Please only upload .doc, .docx, .rtf, and .pdf files. Note: it may withdraw works submitted without a cover letter.
Ninth Letter does not accept multiple submissions or previously published work. It will pay the published writers a complimentary 2-year subscription to Ninth Letter.
