PoetrySubmission Calls

Submit to Praxis Magazine Online’s Chapbook Series

PRAXIS Magazine for Arts and Literature
Deadline: Feb. 5, 2019.

Praxis Magazine Online publishes a number of chapbooks per year. The team seeks poetry that redefines language and form, shocks, and makes readers both revere and question the ordinariness or magic of the world. The team welcome submissions from new, emerging, established, and underrepresented voices including women, LGBTQ, disabled, and poets of color.

So submit any poetry that enacts a careful understanding of music, passion, and creativity. However, you are not bound by any specific aesthetic. The team’s sole mission is to publish high potential, quality poetry collections.

Send all submissions to halima@praxismagonline.com. The subject line of your email should read “Submission / Poetry Chapbook.” Attach the manuscript as a word document. Please submit only one manuscript during the reading period. Praxis Magazine Online does accept simultaneous submissions as long as you immediately inform them via email if your work is accepted elsewhere.

All submissions must be emailed by midnight (WAT) on Feb. 5. Any submissions received outside the reading period, or through any means otherwise stated, will be ignored.
