Sweet Magazine, now known as Substance Books, is an online platform for the expression of almost unheard of desires.
Submit original, unpublished work only. No dual submissions. Do not submit work to us and other publishers/publications simultaneously.
Electronic (text): send submissions in word documents. Do not use fancy formatting, script fonts, page borders, colors etc. Send no more than 6,000 words.
Electronic (images): no more than one 2,000kb high-res scan. Email to: submissions@substancebooks.co.za. It can take up to a month for us to respond to your submission.
Submit: flash fiction, essays, poetry, reviews and all other matters of substance.
