Enkare Review opens call for submissions for its maiden issue. Enkare Review is a literary magazine that aims to discover new strong voices in the literary scape and to showcase their talents. Send previously unpublished short fiction, poetry, essays, reviews, interviews, letters and visual art, written in English, to submissions@enkare.org. Enkare Review will also accept translations. It will also accept submissions previously published on personal blogs, as long as it is indicated on the cover letter and the piece pulled down.
Send your submissons as microsoft word (doc, docx) attachment, formatted as follows: Times New Roman, size 12, double spaced, and left or justified alignment. Submit interviews in mp3.
Submit either a 1,500-7,500 word short story, a 3500 word non-fiction pieces, a 1,500 word book review/personal letters, or a 4 poem, 7 page poetry submission. Please adhere to the maximum limit. However, Enkare Review may be flexible on this. Include your contact information.
It will accept simultaneous submissions, as long as it is immediately notified if accepted elsewhere. It does not pay its contributors. Do read pieces previously published pieces to get a grasp of Enkare Review’s style.
Generally, it responds to submissions within a month. If you don’t hear back, wait another two weeks and email info@enkare.org. Please wait for response on your submission before sending another.
