Submit to the Collins Elesiro Literary Prize by CF Writerz

Deadline for Submissions: June 10, 2019.

CF Writerz currently accepts submissions for its new Freedom Magazine issue. The submissions should cover the “sweetness” theme. It was adapted from a poetry collection by Stefn Sylvester Anyatowu, a Title of the Year awardee. The Freedom Magazine will award the top entry the Collins Elesiro Literary Prize.

The team will consider submissions in the poetry, fiction or non-fiction categories for the Collins Elesiro Literary Prize. The winner receives N100,000 and an e-publishing deal, worth N60,000. The other two runner-ups will also receive e-publishing deal

The team’s mandate is to tell the best of African stories and promote the reading culture of Africans. It encourages freedom of style and expression. Tell African stories as best as you can. Cfwriterz publishes writings from all over Africa and across various genres.

To enter, submit a poem, or an up to 3,000-words fiction or non-fiction prose, all previously unpublished. The team will accept simultaneous submissions as long as it is notified of acceptance elsewhere immediately. It also welcomes translation pieces.
